So you must have taken any theory test in geography, history, cultural studies and many other school subjects. There are subjects which seem to be more theoretical, like history or geography, and there are also those, like mathematics, which are more practical. If you want to pass you theory test in any subject you need to study thoroughly. Actually, it is all about learning by heart. However, the disadvantage is that people tend to forget what they learned by heart much faster. Is there anything we can do to avoid this? Does this mean that the knowledge included in theory test is basically lost? Well, not really. You have to understand what you are learning. That is really important. Sometimes it helps when you use your imagination to build pictures, to associate things in your brain. Then you don"t have to repeat exactly what is written in your book but you can use your own words to describe the phenomenon, whatever it is. Concentration is important. You can easily get distracted while reading so you need a quiet place and relaxed mind.
